This pamphlet, which supports any classroom text, consists of the updated Federal Rules of Evidence and materials designed to aid in understanding, construing, and applying them, including the Best Practices Manual for Authenticating Digital Evidence. It contains the recent amendments to Rules 106, 615, and 702 of the Federal Rules of Evidence, which took effect in December 2023. Also this year’s edition includes five new amendments that will take effect on December 1, 2024. The rules amended are 613, 801(d)(2), 804(b)(3), and 1006 as well as new rule 107.
